My name is Mays kalash . I am from Syria. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a Diploma

My name is Mays kalash . I am from Syria. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a Diploma in Human Resource Management, with a great experience in HR management at ESL Teaching Centers and academic institutions. My son is in Year six. As a PTA member, I am delighted to be on such a committee. I intend to play an active role by trying to be a channel connecting the parents and the school management, trying to deliver the different opinions and suggestions of both sides that can participate in the success of PSI school and the progress and development of our kids too.

Mr. Dionisio Manalo

I am Dionisio Manalo, father of Eve Angel Manalo of Year 12. I work in QDVC on LRT Project.

I am Dionisio Manalo, father of Eve Angel Manalo of Year 12. I work in QDVC on LRT Project as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Procurement Officer, we designed and built the Lusail Railways Transit, and I have been involved mainly in contracts, commercial and procurement activities in the project. I moved here to Qatar with my family in 2012, joining QDVC when Lusail had just started developing. This is the 1st time for me to be selected as a PTA representative, and if I can be of any assistance to the organization to the best of my capabilities, I will do so.

PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Aims and Functions of a Parent-Teacher Association
1-To promote connections and communications between parents and school and to establish a partnership between them
2-To promote the development of academic performance and the physical and mental health of children through close home-school co-operation
3- To develop the potential of parents and to strengthen their relationship with their children through planning and to conduct a variety of developmental and recreational activities
4- To help parents to understand their children’s needs better and to arouse their interest and involvement in youth policy through parent education
5- To provide a channel for both parents and the school to exchange opinions concerning school policies for promoting the development of the school
6-To elect parent managers to the Incorporated Management Committee to work together with the other school managers in the management of the school
